Media Release

I authorize my child(ren) image to be utilized for marking purposes and social media updates.

TUFF KIDS agreements

I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the TUFF Kids Liability Waiver, Medical Authorization, and Media Release.
I consent to emergency medical treatment if necessary.
I authorize transportation for TUFF Kids activities and field trips.

TUFF Kids Participant Liability Waiver, Medical Authorization & Media Release

Parent/Guardian Agreement for Minor Participants

By registering my child for participation in TUFF Kids programs, events, camps, field trips, recreational activities, educational activities, transportation, and related services (collectively referred to as “Activities”), I acknowledge and agree to the following terms on behalf of myself and my minor child.

1. Participant Information

I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor participant and have authority to execute this agreement.

I understand that participation in TUFF Kids Activities may include, but is not limited to:

Outdoor recreation
Sports and physical activities
Educational workshops
Transportation to and from activities
Field trips
Community events
Water-related activities
Use of playgrounds, gyms, and recreational equipment

2. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in these Activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Slips, falls, or collisions
Physical exertion and related injuries
Transportation-related incidents
Exposure to weather conditions
Injuries caused by equipment or other participants
Illness, allergic reactions, or unforeseen medical emergencies

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my child’s participation, whether known or unknown.

3. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless TUFF Kids, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, sponsors, partners, contractors, event hosts, transportation providers, and affiliated organizations from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my child’s participation in TUFF Kids Activities, including claims arising from ordinary negligence.

This release does not apply to gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

4. Medical Authorization

In the event of illness or injury, I authorize TUFF Kids staff, volunteers, or representatives to obtain emergency medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached immediately.

I understand and agree that:

TUFF Kids does not provide medical insurance for participants.
I am financially responsible for any medical treatment, transportation, ambulance services, hospital care, medications, or related expenses incurred.
I must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or restrictions during registration.

5. Transportation Permission

I authorize my child to be transported by TUFF Kids staff, volunteers, approved drivers, or contracted transportation providers for Activities, events, and field trips associated with the program.

I understand reasonable safety precautions will be taken during transportation.

6. Behavioral Expectations

I understand that TUFF Kids reserves the right to remove or suspend any participant whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, inappropriate, or harmful to themselves or others.

I understand that no refund will be required if removal occurs due to behavioral violations.

7. Photo, Video & Media Release

I grant TUFF Kids permission to photograph, video record, or otherwise capture my child’s likeness during Activities for lawful promotional, educational, fundraising, social media, website, marketing, and program-related purposes without compensation.

I understand that TUFF Kids may use these materials in print, digital, and online formats.

8. Electronic Signature Consent

I understand that by checking the acknowledgment box and submitting the online registration form, I am providing my electronic signature and agreeing that it is legally binding under applicable Texas and federal electronic signature laws, including the Texas Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA).

9. Certification & Acknowledgment

By signing electronically below, I certify that:

I have read and fully understand this Liability Waiver and Release.
I understand the risks associated with participation.
I voluntarily agree to these terms on behalf of myself and my child.
All registration and medical information provided is accurate and complete.
